Jama Jack has a background in Media and Communication, and experience in advocacy and non-profit work. Her interests lie in the intersections of media and culture, and how the former can be used as a tool for positive change, especially in relation to issues hindering progress for girls and women. Jama is an ardent advocate and activist for the promotion and respect of the rights of women and girls. She has been actively involved in advocacy work and volunteering since age 10.
